A political leader and an industrialist both, Bajaj was a raging success. Bajaj was adopted by a rich Rajasthani merchant couple. Under the guidance of his father, Seth Bachhraj, Bajaj acquired the skills of a tradesman. Under the British Rule, he received the position of an Honorary Magistrate. Bajaj later resigned from this position in solidarity with the movements led by freedom fighters against the British.

Kumar Mangalam Birla
Birla is an industrialist billionaire. Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, he took over the company in 1995. In his 24 year long tenure, he increased the annual turnover of his company from $3.33 billion to 48.33 billion. The Aditya Birla Group is a conglomerate operating in 26 countries. known for their business in the textile and telecom industries in India. Therefore making Mangalam Birla one of the Top Billionaires of Rajasthan.

Lakshmi Mittal
Earlier this year he stepped down from the CEO position to make way for his son. Mittal now stands as the Chairman of ArcelorMittal. Just like Kumar Birla, Mittal is also one of the top richest Marwaris. Born in northern Rajasthan, he now resides in London. His company produces the highest output globally of steel and mining. Now 70 years old, he has been placed in three Forbes List and has been awarded by the Indian government with the Padma Vibhushan award.

Hari Singh Ranka
Founder and Chairman of the Modern Group, Ranka is from Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Bhilwara is known for its diverse and high quality textiles and so was the company Ranka founded in 1973 – Modern Woollens. Now expanded, the Modern Group includes suitings, petrochemicals, denim, insulators and more. He now joins the billionaires of Rajasthan club. Ranka is the recipient of State awards from Rajasthan. Born in a small town in Rajasthan, Piramal is now the Executive Director of the Piramal Group. His father, Ajay Piramal, is also one of the top richest personalities of Rajasthan. Preceding the Piramal, he founded a rural healthcare start-up called ‘Piramal eSwasthya’.
