1. Sudhabay: Ghost Fair
One of the haunted places of Rajasthan is a hamlet near Pushkar bypass, Sudhabay is a land of the occult. The annual Ghost Fair hosts a motley of people, unusual rituals & rites, and mass exorcism. The locals take a dip in the sacred kund to cleanse the negative energies that float in the environment during this period. A visit to Sudhabey is a spine-chilling experience with the ghostly.

2. Jagatpura: Walking Witches
The legend of Jagatpura is a tale known to every local. The starving villagers cursed the king, and it is believed that the villagers are still seeking help from the people who visit. One of the most spooky places in Jaipur, Jagatpura is home to witches. Locals have several stories of their encounter with the witches. The air of Jagatpura turns eerie after evening and walking through the streets is uncanny.

3. Rana Kumbha Palace: Secret Chamber of Screams
Undoubtedly one of the scariest places in Rajasthan, Rana Kumbha Palace of Chittorgarh is a spine-chilling experience for visitors. The secret chambers and the screams of the dead are not for the faint-hearted to witness.
The history of the palace vindicates the experience of the strong energy even today. When the Sultan of Delhi, Allaudin Khilji attacked the palace, Maharani Padmini performed Jauhar with 700 servants. The pain echoes through the walls of the palace and can be witnessed to the present day.

4. Kuldhara Village: Curse of the Abandoned Land
Kuldhara village of Rajasthan, not far from Jaisalmer, has been deserted since the 1800s. The land is cursed, making it impossible to live and breed. With failed attempts of people to live there, something or the other always chased them away. This curse cast by villagers before abandoning the village overnight cannot be unlifted. The folklore is, when a minister wanted to forcibly marry the daughter of one of the villagers, the villagers, along with 84 other villages, decided to leave the village. It remains a mystery till today, as to when they left or where they went.
A research team from the paranormal society of New Delhi has recorded proof of the voices of dead villagers, and footprints of children.

5. Bhangarh Fort: The Ghost and Crying Woman
The infamous Bhangarh Fort has many horror stories attached to it. Over the years, the chronicles kept diversifying through the experiences of the visitors. Several short films and documentaries have been made to capture the haunting tales of this Fort in Rajasthan. A sign by the Archaeological Survey of India outside the fort warns people to not stay in the fort after dusk.
One of the most widespread stories about the fort is the story of the Tantric and the queen. The Tantric fell in love with the queen of Bhangarh and made her a love potion. The queen threw the love potion on a rock that eventually fell on the Tantric and killed him.

6. NH-79 Near Dudu Village: Ghost of woman and her child
The drive through the Ajmer-Udaipur is as thrilling as it is daunting. Known as the road that demands blood, NH-79 has endlessly recorded encounters. The Dudu village located off the highway has various horror tales associated with it.
At the time when child marriage was prevalent in India, a 5-year-old child was married off in the village. Although in an attempt to escape, she ran to the highway and was killed in an accident.
Today, while driving on the highway, travellers often see a woman carrying a baby in her arms seeking help. A group of three friends encountered the ghost of a woman, who guided them through the village and sat in their car.
