Mahaveer Swami

Mahaveer Swami is a renowned artist with over 40 years of experience in both traditional and contemporary Miniature Painting. Inspired by his family’s artistic legacy, he specializes in Bikaner-style paintings. He also has a keen interest in botany and has created stunning botany theme Miniature paintings. He has collaborated with prominent botanical societies including the American Botanical Society, Korean Botanical Society, and Indian Botanical Society. 

He uses different types of paper, such as handmade paper or silk fabric on paper. He applies a technique called “pardaash” with black ink, which adds a 3D effect, typical of Bikaner-style painting. While working on his art, he has earned accolades like the National Award, Kala Shri, and more for his dedication to the art form.
